Northridge Youth Girls Basketball League 2026
You are invited to be a part of the Lady Raider Basketball Feeder program (NYGBL). Coach Springer and his staff have developed this league for the youth of Middlebury Community Schools. We are beginning our 18th year of providing fundamental skills, games, and fun. The league is open to girls in 1st-6th Grade.
Practice times are:
1st – 2nd grade league: Tuesdays beginning September 22 6:15-7:15 p.m. at Middlebury Activities Center Aux Gym
3rd – 6th grade league: Thursdays beginning September 24 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Middlebury Activities Center Aux Gym
Games will be held on Saturdays starting on Saturday October 10th at 8:00 a.m.
To be a member of one of our Grade Based Travel teams, you must sign up for NYGBL (See Google Form Registration for info).
The first two practice sessions for each Grade Level will consist of Fundamental Skills taught by The Lady Raider Basketball Staff and High School Girls. Evaluations will be conducted to place the girls on teams that will be coached by members of the Lady Raider Program. Please see above for the first practice date for your grade level. 1st and 2nd grade girls will play on 8’ baskets, and 3rd-6th will play on 10’ baskets.
The NYGBL coaching staff will consist of the Lady Raider Coaching Staff and High School players. This league has helped to develop a winning tradition for Lady Raider Basketball.
